Mullein. Spires of deep rose-pink flowers with a dark eye appear above semi-evergreen rosettes of purplish green wrinkled leaves from June to August. Deadhead spent flower stems promptly to encourage repeat flowering and leave the basal rosette intact over winter. Height 1.2m. Spread 40cm. Well-drained soil. Hardy.
