Geum 'Scarlet Tempest' (1L) (PBR)

Avens. This impressive perennial won second place in the RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year 2016 competition. As a sterile hybrid, it produces lots of larger than average flowers over a long period. The first flush of apricot-flushed reddish flowers starts in April after which the plant usually takes a short break before going on to bloom uninterrupted into September. Height 45cm. Spread 45cm. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Hardy. RHS Recommended: Award of Garden Merit.
