Cerastium tomentosum (1L)

Snow in Summer. Thriving in hot, sun-baked spots where little else will grow, this creeping alpine will soon form a dense mat of silver foliage which, from May to June, is studded with a profusion of white flowers. Use in alpine beds, gravel gardens and containers. Looks lovely spillling over walls too. Height 15cm. Spread 15cm. Full sun. Moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Hardy.
