Salvia verticillata 'Purple Rain' (2L)

Whorled Clary. Selected by the renowned Dutch plantsman Piet Oudolf as one of his favourites, this herbaceous salvia has purple stems and flowers which rise above softly hairy mid-green leaves from June to August. Height 75cm. Spread 50cm. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Hardy.
