Apple Tree Grafting Workshop - Monday, April 8th , 10am to 2pm.

Learn how to get apple trees for free with a workshop on grafting led by the Rococo Garden’s Head Gardener Roger Standley.

The morning starts with an exclusive tour of the garden, which will be closed to the public.

Roger will explain how an apple is grafted and scions will be collected from some of the garden’s heirloom trees before a practical demonstration of this interesting propagation method in the garden’s new tipi.

You will then graft and pot up two trees with rootstock supplied by the garden before taking them home.

Cost: £70 (limited to only 10 places) to include tea or coffee, cake, exclusive entrance to the garden and two grafted trees (additional trees can be bought for £10 each).
